Aetrex Donates iStep5000 Scanner To Enhance Technology Within RMPI Curriculum

Through the generosity of Aetrex, the RMPI has been able to provide education and technology to aspiring pedorthists. Since 2004, Aetrex's continuing donations of shoes for students to use during shoe fitting and shoe modification courses, several computers for the lecture hall, classroom and study hall, as well as the iStep System which measures foot pressures. The iStep software aids students with understanding pathologies, pressure mapping, inventory, and the advantages of using the iStep System.  With Aetrex's latest donation of the iStep 5000 Scanner, consumers and students will benefit from this innovative scanner that measures foot size and relates this information to the proper insert and shoe within the Aetrex line of products.  Aetrix - enabling the RMPI with technology and allowing you to "Live Life Your Way"!

The Robert M. Palmer M.D., Institute Of Biomechanics "A Not-For-Profit School" has uniquely designed courses to provide pedorthic pre-certification education for the retail, clinical or biomechanical knowledge seeking pedorthist. Course dates for Levels 1-3 in a variety of locations in the United States, Hong Kong, Mainland China and Korea are available.

I don't see a lot of new Pedorthists entering the profession, and it seems like without that, our profession will contract and eventually die.  It also does not seem that other organizations are doing anything to help advance pedorthics.  My question is what can PFA do, and is PFA doing, to help turn the tide on this crisis hitting our profession?
